Tomorrowland: A World Beyond
Tomorrowland (also known as Project T in some regions and subtitled A World Beyond in some other regions) is a 2015 American science fiction film directed by Brad Bird, with a screenplay by Bird and Damon Lindelof, based on a story by Bird, Lindelof, and Jeff Jensen.
The film follows the adventures of a disillusioned inventor named Frank Walker (George Clooney) and a teenage science enthusiast named Casey Newton (Britt Robertson) who discover a mysterious pin that transports them to an alternate dimension known as Tomorrowland, a futuristic utopia where their actions directly affect their own world. Along the way, they encounter Athena (Raffey Cassidy), a young girl who gave Frank the pin when he was a boy, and Nix (Hugh Laurie), the leader of Tomorrowland who wants to prevent them from changing the fate of humanity.

The film was inspired by the progressive cultural movements of the Space Age, as well as Walt Disney's optimistic philosophy of the future, notably his conceptual vision for the planned community known as EPCOT.
